Vent: my 2-inch pin press died mid-batch at a craft fair in Portland
I was 30 pins into a 50-pin run at the Saturday market when the press just stopped clamping, no warning, no weird noise. I had like 15 people waiting at the table and I had to tell them to come back later, which felt awful. Turns out the plastic gear stripped after maybe 200 total presses, so now I always carry a spare hand press in my bag. Has anyone else had a budget press fail at the worst possible time, and did you find a better brand that actually lasts?
