inThat $60 meal kit subscription nearly wrecked my grocery budget last month until I added up what I actually cooked vs tossed
Honestly, $22 of waste from one box sounds about right for those services because they pack way more than you actually need for the recipes. Tbh, the real cost per meal is always higher than advertised once you factor in the stuff you never touch like that random herb packet or half a lemon. Ngl, I did the math on my last box and it came out to almost $9 a serving after the waste, not the $6 they promote.

inHad a panel blow out at a church install in Phoenix last August
So you're telling me you actually saw the battery swell up that much. Was there any sign of it bulging the day before when you mounted it, or did it just go from flat to cracked plastic overnight? I've had batteries go bad in the cold here in Colorado, but never seen one balloon that fast in heat. The vent fan idea is smart, but did you try putting the battery outside the panel enclosure altogether? That's what I started doing after my Phoenix mess, just run wires to a separate plastic box mounted on the wall a couple feet away. Seems like it keeps the battery way cooler even if the closet bakes.

inHad a weird week where every single PC had a bad power supply
Read an article a few months back that said some of these brands switched suppliers for parts during the pandemic and never switched back. Cheaper materials, more failures down the line. Doesn't surprise me if that's what we're seeing now.

inJust found a way to finally organize my comic boxes without losing my mind
My dark blue dots for the "Death of Superman" run stretched five straight issues and I just pretended it was a mood ring.

inFinally tried that boring insert after 3 years of avoiding it
The coated ones actually last longer on harder stuff though.
