So I just hit 10,000 unanswered questions in my project notes
I was cleaning up my digital files and saw the folder where I dump every random question I have. I opened it and the file count was exactly 10,000. It's stuff like 'why do we park in a driveway but drive on a parkway?' and 'how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?' I started this list about 5 years ago as a joke. Now it's a monster I can't control. It matters because it shows how my brain just won't stop asking things, even when there's no answer. Has anyone else made a list that got totally out of hand like this?

Ten thousand is a serious number, man. My grocery list gets out of hand sometimes, but you've built a library of mysteries. At this point, you don't have a notes folder, you have a personal trivia graveyard. The real question is what you do for number 10,001. Maybe "why did I start this list?

What even was note number one, a grocery list from 2012? Ten thousand notes means you've been saving every stray thought for years, and that's kind of beautiful in a messy way. The real mystery is what you were trying to hold onto that started it all. My guess is it was something totally ordinary, like the name of a song you heard in a cafe.

That trivia graveyard idea hits hard. You ever go back to note #1 and just stare at it? Like, what tiny, random thought kicked off this whole ten thousand note avalanche? Was it a weird dream, or just needing to remember a coffee order? The origin story has to be buried in there somewhere.
