Ngl, I miss when astro pics showed what your eye would actually see

Honestly, I was at a star party last year and saw the Orion Nebula through a scope. It was a faint gray smudge, not some vibrant purple cloud. Tbh, all this editing makes space feel like a cartoon. I think we're losing the real wonder of it. Why can't we just appreciate the raw beauty?

Edits can turn real beauty into something fake and overdone. Our eyes catch details that edits often miss or mess up. It's kinda sad when a sunset needs a boost from software to be called beautiful. The original scene has a truth to it that gets watered down with every tweak. Let's not forget that sometimes less editing means more real impact.
