One comment about my star colors wrecked my whole editing flow
A guy on r/astrophotography told me my nebula shots looked 'too pink' and after checking my histogram I realized I was crushing the teal channel every single time, so I switched to narrowband mapping and now my Orion shots from last month look completely different, has anyone else had to redo their palette after one critique?

Back in 2019 I spent about four months shooting the Rosette Nebula from my backyard in Ohio and I was so proud of this deep red look I had going. Then some guy at a star party in Michigan glanced at my laptop for two seconds and said the stars looked like cough drops, and I couldn't unsee it. I went home and pulled up my old subs and sure enough I had been clipping the green channel in processing to make the red pop more, which made every star look like a little candy. It took me probably three weeks of reprocessing to fix the whole set and I still cringe at the old versions. Funny how one random comment from a stranger can totally reset how you see your own work. The annoying part is he was right.
