Struggling with image stacking for my Orion Nebula photos

Buddy's stacker crashed until he split the frames into batches.

Seriously, how big of a deal is a crash these days... software acts up, you find a workaround like batching. Seems like a normal Tuesday, not some major disaster. Probably just ran out of memory or something basic. Fix it and move on, you know?

Crashing until batching could mean the stacker's design has a HIDDEN flaw with large data sets. It's not just running out of RAM, it might be choking on how it processes everything at once. Batch splitting forces a CLEANER workflow.
