Dealership in Dallas switched us to waterborne basecoat three years back, now I can't decide if the finish is actually better
Two of my painters swear the waterborne jobs lay down smoother and cut our booth time by 20 minutes a car, but the other two say the old solvent stuff held up better after a few summers of Texas sun, so someone tell me which side they're on.
