Showerthought: I used to chase every blend line by hand, now I let the 1/4 inch tape do the talking
Back in my early days at a collision place off Route 9, I'd sit there feathering a blend for 20 minutes with 400 grit and pray the clear laid flat. Now I tape off a hard line, spray up to it, and pull the tape while the clear is still wet, and honestly my match work got better the day I stopped being stubborn about it. Any of you older painters still swear by hand blending on a panel, or did you make the switch too?
