I saw a Hilton in London that went from 50,000 points to 95,000 in two years. That is basically doubling the cost. At that rate you are better off finding a deal on Booking.com and paying cash.

The tape and towel method is honestly underrated. I've been doing that for years on my own truck and it works just as good as any expensive cover. The trick is just make sure the tape is clean and you're not pressing it into any dirt. Idk why people get so caught up in the whole magnetic thing, because like you said, one bump and it's gone. Plus those magnets can mess with the paint if there's any metal debris stuck to them. Painter's tape is cheap and you can toss it when it's dirty.
