Wet sanded a fender with 800 then 1500 grit, and the orange peel vanished in about 20 minutes
I was skeptical because I always stopped at 1000 grit, but stepping up to 1500 before buffing made the clear look like glass off the gun. Anyone else go past 1500 or is that overkill for daily drivers?
