Took my truck to Firestone on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie and the tech caught a leaking water pump I missed
I was checking my coolant level twice a week because it kept dropping a little, and I figured it was just a loose cap. A tech named Ray at the Firestone on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie pressure tested it and found the water pump weeping at the gasket, which would have been around $600 with the tow if it let go on I-84. Has anyone else had a slow coolant leak that turned out to be the pump instead of a hose?

I used to blame the cap too, but now I always check the pump first.
