I finally brought up a teammate skipping calibration steps.
Is it better to call out missed checks or just trust they know what they're doing?

Better to say something, because that skipped step could cause a real mess for everyone. You're looking out for the whole team, not just picking on one person.

On the project last quarter, we bypassed the daily calibration for two weeks straight. The product quality scores did not drop at ALL. If the machine hasn't been bumped, those steps can be redundant. Making a big deal over it every time feels like pointless nagging.
