Used to scrub my mower deck with a wire brush for an hour, now I just tilt it and hose it
Honestly I spent a good chunk of every spring scraping baked grass off the underside of my deck with a wire brush and a putty knife. That was my Saturday mornings from like 2018 up until a couple summers ago. Then a guy at the mower shop in Cheyenne told me to just tilt the deck up on its side, hose the wet clumps off, and let it dry in the sun. Took me 10 minutes instead of an hour and the cut looks cleaner too. Has anyone here tried the spray-on deck coating stuff, does it actually stop the buildup?
