My backyard studio reverb was a mess until I clapped in it on a rainy Tuesday
I have been recording in my 10x12 shed studio for about 8 months and always wondered why my acoustic guitar tracks sounded so boxy and muddy. Last Tuesday it rained all day so I couldn't do anything outside, and on a whim I stood in the middle of the room and clapped once, and the echo slapped back so fast I actually flinched. Has anyone else fixed a small room like this, and did you go with bass traps first or just cover the whole back wall?
