My studio's little heater gave up right before a big cold snap
It was just a cheap plug-in unit, but it kept things warm enough for my morning writing sessions. I ended up using a small space heater from the house for a week while I found a better one. Anyone have a good heater they use that doesn't cost a ton to run?

My buddy's cheap heater actually melted his outlet last winter lol

Check the heater's wattage before plugging it in.

William's right about checking the wattage. That melted outlet story is a good warning. You really need to make sure your circuit can handle the load, especially in an older place. A lot of those small rooms or studios are on the same circuit as other stuff. I learned the hard way by tripping the breaker with a heater and a lamp on at the same time.
