Just realized my store's aisle signs have been lying to contractors for 2 years
I run the hardware counter at my store in Reno and last month a plumber cussed me out because aisle 7 says 'Plumbing Fittings' but half of them live in aisle 12 now after we reset the shelves. I walked the store with a sharpie and found 9 signs that point the wrong way, and not one person had flagged it since the 2023 remodel. Do I just slap up paper printouts, print real signs, or is there a cheaper way you folks have fixed signage drift without a full reset?

Man, I feel this in my bones! Our garden center got moved two years ago and the old signs still send people to the back corner where we keep the pallets of soil now, so I've watched folks wander around lost more times than I can count. Paper printouts taped over the old ones lasted about a week before they peeled off, so we finally just printed cheap laminated cards and zip tied them to the shelf ends, which has held up pretty well so far.
