Can we talk about my apartment intercom buzzer that has zero way to tell which button is mine
Moved into a 40 unit building in Portland last spring and the panel outside just has unlabeled buttons in one long row. I stood there with pizza getting cold, pressing random ones until a guy on the 4th floor buzzed me in by mistake. My actual unit is 3C but the panel goes 1 through 40 with no floor numbers and the sticker that maybe said something peeled off in like 2011. Landlord says it has always been like that and to just memorize it. How is a person supposed to know their own buzzer without asking a neighbor?
