Just realized the elevator buttons in my sister's apartment in Cleveland are the worst I've seen
Ngl I always thought the buttons on our old place were bad until I visited her building on West 25th last Saturday and the floor numbers sit right next to the alarm button with no gap. Has anyone else seen a panel like that, because I pressed the fire alarm twice trying to get to the 4th floor.
That gap thing is no joke, the building I lived in before had the call button right under the light switch for the hallway, so half the time you'd kill the lights thinking you were calling the car. Whoever designs these panels must never actually use an elevator. The alarm button should be behind a little cover or at least set apart from the numbers, not shoulder to shoulder with them. Your sister probably has a running tab with the building super by now.
