Spent 2 hours squinting at my thermostat before realizing the tiny numbers were the actual room temp
Whoever decided to print the set temp in huge bold font and the real temp in faint grey deserves a timeout, I kept cranking it hotter because I thought 68 was the current reading. Did anyone else take way too long to figure this out or is it just me?
My wife caught me doing the exact same thing last winter and just watched me fiddle with it for like 20 minutes without saying anything. I was bumping it up degree by degree like the house was freezing when it was already sitting at a nice 70. She finally asked why I kept making it warmer when I was already sweating in a t-shirt. That was a rough moment for my pride. The grey number thing gets everybody at some point, you are not alone in this. At least you figured it out in 2 hours, I think mine took most of an evening.
