The new parking meter downtown took me 15 minutes to figure out

I was trying to pay for an hour in front of the Main Street library, but the touchscreen was so unresponsive and the menu was a mess. It kept jumping back to the main screen before I could confirm. I finally got it to work after pressing the same spot about twenty times. Has anyone else had a fight with one of those blue meters on 5th Avenue?

Those blue meters are the worst. The screen gets all smudged and laggy from everyone poking it. I swear they make the buttons smaller on purpose so you hit the wrong thing. Last time it charged my card twice for one parking session, and good luck getting that refund.

Wait, they charged your card twice? That's actually insane. How does a machine even do that? I'd be calling the parking office every single day until they fixed it. Those screens are so bad, like trying to use a phone with a wet noodle for a finger.
