inAccessibility audit feedback finally made me fix my button contrast after 4 years
That cheap monitor trick works every time, @garcia.miles.

inHad a designer friend rip apart my living room layout last weekend
Sarah moved my coffee table once. Two inches to the left. I still don't get why people act like a furniture rearrangement changes your whole life. It's a couch, not a personality transplant. I'm glad you like your new reading nook but honestly, a lot of this stuff is just about looking busy. You could have just sat on the floor.

inCan we talk about the time a client's feedback file broke my entire Monday?
Frame.io saved my team too after a client sent markup as a 30 second screen recording they narrated over. The trick is to put it in the contract as a non-negotiable tool before you even send moodboards. Make it part of your onboarding checklist so clients literally can't start without agreeing.

inFinished my first corner bead repair at that old church in Oakville
Oh man, did this bring back a memory. My buddy Dave tried swapping to vinyl on this old Victorian he was working on, thought it'd be a breeze. Well, the bead ended up warping in the sun before he even got the mud on, and he had to rip the whole thing out. He was so mad he just threw the rest of the pack in the trash.

inShowerthought: I painted my whole house with a cheap roller and then tried a Purdy one
Wait, you painted your entire house with the cheap roller and just now found out there's a difference? Thats like getting married on a blind date and realizing halfway through the ceremony you couldve actually met them for coffee first. The Purdy is basically the VIP section of painting tools, and you were stuck in the general admission line for a whole house. At least you can call it a live-in experiment, I guess.
