Can we talk about the sign guy in Tulsa who put Papyrus on a funeral home
I was driving down 11th street in Tulsa last week and passed a funeral home with a brand new sign, and the whole thing was set in Papyrus. The letters were spaced so tight that "Evergreen" looked like one long word, and the P had this weird little kick on it. A guy standing outside saw me slow down and said, "Yeah, my wife hates it too, but the owner's nephew made it on his laptop." I asked if they could just swap the font out, and he said the sign was already $3,400 so they were stuck with it. It felt less like a joke and more like a lesson on picking the font before you pay for the vinyl. Does anyone know a cheap way to cover up a font you can't stand on a sign that's already up?
