Watched a guy try to read a chalkboard menu in cursive for 3 minutes last Saturday
Stood behind him at a brunch spot in Savannah and he finally gave up and just pointed at something random. I grabbed a menu to see what was so hard and the whole thing was in this thin script font with fake loops, on a dark green board no less. Went home and tested the same style on a flyer for my crew's summer schedule and my own guys couldn't read the dates. Switched it to plain block letters and the calls about wrong days stopped completely. Am I the only one who thinks cursive menus are a straight up trap for anyone over 40?
