Shoutout to the 3am crop I did on a client's swoosh logo that made it worse
My client in Denver sent over a logo that was basically a blob with a gradient, so I tried tracing just the outer edge in Illustrator to clean it up at 2 inches wide. What I got back was a lumpy shape that looked like a potato wearing a cape, and the client actually asked if I 'redrew it by hand' as a joke. Has anyone found a cleaner way to redraw a fuzzy edge without it turning into a lumpy mess?
