The "save" button on my power company's site opens a dropdown and logs me out
I went to pay my electric bill on the site for my old apartment in Cincinnati, and the whole page was one of those with a giant blue button labeled SAVE at the bottom of the form. So I clicked it, thinking it would save the card I typed in. Nope, it opened a dropdown menu with three options, and none of them were "save." I picked the one that seemed closest, and the page did a full reload and kicked me back to the login screen with all my info gone. I typed everything again, hit a different button this time, and the exact same dropdown popped up. Turns out the real submit button was a tiny gray text link hiding up near the header that said "continue." Took me 4 tries and about 20 minutes to pay a $63 bill. Why would a button called SAVE not save anything? Has anyone else run into a form where the main button is basically a decoy?
