Debate: Should hotel key cards show your room number on the sleeve or not?

I was at a Marriott in Chicago last weekend and noticed the key card sleeve had the room number printed right on it. My buddy said that's a safety risk because if you lose the sleeve, anyone can find your room. But I kinda like it because I forget my room number all the time after a long day exploring. The hotel had about 300 rooms and I walked past mine twice before I remembered. Which side do you fall on - do you prefer the number visible for convenience or hidden for security?

Bro i stayed at a Hilton in Austin last month and they had the room number on the sleeve too. I get the safety thing but honestly half the time im walking around the hallways trying random doors until i find mine lol. If youre really paranoid just rip the sticker off and stick it on your phone case or something.
