Pro tip: check your app's dark mode on an actual phone before shipping
I spent two weeks polishing a dashboard design in light mode, then a beta tester in Chicago sent me a screenshot of what it looked like in dark mode and half the text was invisible because I never once tested that toggle before going live, has anyone else shipped a feature only to realize you missed a basic accessibility thing like that?

Right? That battery level thing is wild though, I shipped a font size feature that broke zoom on Android for a week.

Did you try turning it off and on again? No, seriously, I once shipped a whole app update where the buttons changed color based on the phone's battery level by accident. Some user in Arizona sent me a screenshot of a bright green "Submit" button that looked like a traffic light barfing on a Christmas tree. Turns out I had a debug line that tied button hue to battery percentage. Caught it after 200 downloads and zero complaints, but I still wake up in cold sweats about that one.
