Spent 2 hours trying to carbon date a piece of charcoal from my backyard fire pit

Carbon dating kit for a backyard fire pit? Those test kits need a specific lab setup, theyre not something you just order online. You probably got a fake or a chemistry set.

Just realized binging seasonal anime is way better than weekly watching

Binging fixes the pacing problems" - my friend waited on Attack on Titan and dodged two years of community spoiler drama.

Bakery in Portland had the most clever brand refresh I've seen in a while

Wait they seriously stood there for five minutes staring at menus and bags? That's longer than it takes me to decide on a new phone case. Must have been some serious bee illustrations.

My anvil flipped over in the middle of a demo

...and that's when you realize your whole setup is only as stable as the ground it's sitting on. That portable anvil life is tricky, man. What kind of stump were you using? Was it cut flat on top or just a random chunk of wood?

Just tried a blowdown nozzle on my camp stove instead of my usual pump style

Wait, have you checked if the blowdown nozzle is actually meant for the same fuel type as your stove? In my experience, some of those cheap nozzles from garage sales are built for high pressure propane setups, not the lower pressure on a camp stove. If the orifice size doesn't match, you could end up with a lean flame that ruins your simmer control or even damages the regulator over time. I just swapped a nozzle on my old Coleman and ended up with a flame that looked like a blowtorch, so I had to go back to the stock piece. Your mileage may vary, but I'd double check the threading and the PSI rating if you want to keep using that $5 find.
