Am I the only one who sees people using baking powder from 2018?

I was at a friend's house last week and saw her pull out a can of Clabber Girl that expired three years ago, which explains why her biscuits always come out flat as a pancake.

What about people who just keep refilling the same old tin? My grandma has a baking powder can that looks vintage, but she's been putting fresh stuff in it for a decade. You never really know what's in there!

My baking powder is so old it might as well be a family heirloom (which explains my sad cakes).
