Read that 80% of barbers quit in the first 2 years, is it the chair or the chair rent?
Saw a stat from a state barber board meeting in Ohio that said about 8 in 10 new license holders are out of the game inside 24 months. Half the guys I know blame the rent and the slow books, but the other half swear it's the clients that wear you down before the craft ever pays off. So which one actually kills it, the money side or the people side? Curious what you all think, especially anyone who made it past that 2 year hump.
