Unpopular opinion: I stopped using clipper guards on fades and my blends got cleaner
Did a full 0 to skin fade on a walk-in last month using just my detachable blade set instead of the plastic guards I've used forever, and it came out way smoother in about half the time. But now I've got two guys who swear their fade looked better the old way, and I can't tell if they're right or just noticed a difference. Any of you run detachables only, or do you still keep the guards in rotation for certain hair types?
