Finally got the seized bottom bracket out of a 1994 Rockhopper after soaking it in PB Blaster for 9 days
A guy brought in this old Specialized Rockhopper last month that had been sitting in his garage since 2011, and the drive side cup would not budge, even with a 3 foot cheater bar on my Park BBT-22. I tried heat, I tried an impact wrench, and I was honestly about to tell him the frame was toast. Then I flipped the bike on its side and soaked the cup in PB Blaster every morning for 9 days straight, and on day 9 it popped loose with barely any effort. Felt so good I actually yelled in the shop and my dog started barking from the back room. Anyone got a go to soak or trick for the really stubborn ones, or do you just keep hitting it with heat and swear words?

Doubt PB Blaster did anything, you just finally broke it with all that cheater bar force.
