I ditched my torque wrench for a Park Tool beam style, here's why
Used to trust my click type torque wrench on carbon posts, but after it drifted 4 nm on a seatpost clamp I got spooked. Swapped to the beam style last spring, cheaper and no calibration worries. Anyone else given up on click type for the simple stuff?

Beam style still needs a good eye to read accurate torque, so check the needle sits at zero every time.
