Finally gave that 90s dragon show a shot, now I get the hype
I avoided it for years because the first episode felt like a bad D&D session with worse hair. But my buddy in Austin kept pushing it, said give it until episode 4. By episode 7 I was canceling Friday plans to watch three more. The political stuff in the later seasons hooked me way harder than the dragons did. Has anyone else flipped on a show they wrote off after one viewing?

Honestly the political stuff is where you lose me, not where you win me over. The first few seasons with all the scheming and backstabbing kept me locked in, but once it turned into people sitting in rooms arguing about who gets to sit on what chair, I started checking my phone. Dragons and sword fights are why I showed up, and the show slowly forgot that. Respect for sticking with it past episode one though, most people bail before the good stuff even starts.
