Chose Scythe over Gloomhaven for game night and my group still brings it up
Two winters back I had $80 of birthday cash and stood in the game shop in Boise for like 40 minutes staring at both boxes. I went with Scythe because the rules looked easier to teach, and honestly it was the right call for my crew of 5 who mostly play light stuff. Gloomhaven sat on the shelf for a year before my buddy finally got it, and watching him try to explain it to us made me feel pretty good about my pick. Anyone else got a game they passed on that your group keeps guilt tripping you about?
