DAE feel proud when you teach a game well, even if it means losing?
Losing on purpose to help others learn can be rewarding, but some see it as cheating, what's your take?

Totally get that proud feeling when you help someone click with a game. My take is you don't have to lose on purpose, just play at their level. If I'm teaching a friend, I'll try risky moves I normally wouldn't or focus on a weaker strategy. It keeps the game real for them and still gives them a fair shot to learn and win. That way it never feels like cheating, just good teaching.

Man, my friend taught his niece Ticket to Ride last week. He kept picking shorter routes on purpose and didn't block her key paths, even when he saw the move. He said watching her figure out how to connect her own long route was way better than just winning fast. Yeah, he totally lost, but her face when she got it was the whole point for him.
