Rulebook referencing took me 45 minutes for one simple combat check
Last night my group finally cracked open our new dungeon crawler and I had to look up how breaking a door with a shield works. The index pointed me to page 14, but the actual rule was buried in a sidebar on page 27 with a cross reference to the errata sheet. Took me 45 minutes across three separate interruptions from my buddy asking if we can just house rule it. Has anyone else found that modern rulebooks are way harder to search than older ones with simple bullet point summaries?
