inTalked to a retired farrier at the county fair who said he never used a forge until the 90s. Made me think about how much the tools have changed.
Honestly that "miracles with just an anvil and a hammer" line is so true. My buddy's dad was a farrier and he fixed a busted tractor hitch with a sledgehammer and a railroad track anvil in a field once. Just pure skill.

inQuestion about a new way to prep for extractions I saw at a trade show
Wait, you actually roll out your own pizza dough? That's the part that got me. Who has the time for that?

inI used to track every single penny in a notebook, now I just check one app on Sundays
Which app did you end up using? I tried a few and settled on just checking my bank's built-in spending tracker every Sunday. Seeing the weekly total in red or green is a way faster gut check than adding up receipts ever was.

inDropped $800 on a post driver attachment for my skid steer last season...
What about the chance you're just not using enough downforce? I've seen people fight a driver for ages, then realize they were barely leaning on it. Hard ground needs you to put your weight into it, not just guide the tool. A bad tip feels wrong, but so does trying to drill without pushing.
