Spent $85 on a dice tower that yells at me now

Bought a 3D printed dice tower from a guy at a local con in Dayton, and the resin smell was so bad my cat knocked it off the table at 2am, cracking the base into 3 pieces. Now the dice come out sideways and my group jokes it's "rage rolling," has anyone else had a custom accessory backfire this badly?
