Vent: My game group in Portland spent 45 minutes last night just trying to pick a game to play.
We ended up playing nothing because we couldn't decide, so what's your group's best trick for actually getting a game to the table?

We just pick three games before anyone shows up and vote on them. Takes the endless scrolling out of it and we actually play something. Works way better than staring at a shelf for an hour.

I mean that's a good system but we tried voting and it still took forever. Maybe it's just me but my group would debate the three choices for ages. What works for us, @ben_shah93, is having one person just pick the game outright each week. Takes the pressure off everyone.

We tried the one picker thing once and it backfired hard. Our guy picked the same game three weeks in a row because he was too lazy to learn anything new. Ended up with people just not showing up. The three options before people arrive is the only system that works for my group, keeps the debate short. Forced vote with a timer if they cant decide.
