Vent: That $120 deluxe expansion was useless after 2 plays
I dropped $120 on the collector's expansion for a dungeon crawler and it's just a pile of extra minis that block the map. My group played it twice, said it felt clunky, and now the box is gathering dust. Anyone else regret a big box buy that sounded great in theory?

Honestly, I used to be the guy who swore big expansions were always worth it. But then I got a $150 all-in for a sci-fi game, and the extras were just a bunch of giant ships that tipped over every time someone breathed near the table. We played it three times, and I spent more time fixing the minis than actually rolling dice. Now it's a really expensive shelf decoration. That experience killed the hype for me, so yeah, I get exactly where you're coming from.
