inJust realized my old commute cost me $200 a month in gas and a lot of stress.
Remember when I thought public transit was just for people who couldn't afford a car? My old beater finally died, and I had to take the bus for a month while I saved up. I was shocked at how much reading I got done, and my wallet felt way heavier without that weekly gas station stop. Totally changed my view on the whole thing.

inSaw something wild on a job site in Springfield last Thursday
Saw my buddy try that with a fence post. Thing was crooked before he even got the rails on.

inA customer called me out for how I was checking injector balance rates
Used to think it didn't matter until I saw the gauge jump 20 psi after warming up. Juliandavis is totally right about getting a real reading.

inI spent two years hammering on the wrong side of the anvil face
Ever notice how the right tool feels invisible but the wrong one fights you every step? I spent months trying to open cans with the wrong end of a multi-tool before my buddy pointed it out. It's crazy how a simple blind spot can make a simple job so much harder.

inMy cousin told me to start with the 2015 Ms. Marvel run, said it was perfect for new readers. He was totally right.
Yeah, the "still figuring things out" part is key. A teenager's whole life is new rules and awkward first tries, so every super power problem feels huge. An adult hero would just handle a bully or a first date differently. Kamala freaking out about controlling her embiggening powers is the same as stressing over a school presentation. It makes the learning process way more relatable than if it was some already confident grown-up.
