Hot take: a print rep up in Spokane talked me out of the bleeds I've used for 12 years
She said my 0.125 inch margin was fine but that my crop marks were sitting too close to the trim on a 9 by 12 poster run, and I had been skimping on the safe zone without noticing. I've got a proof coming back Thursday and I'm half expecting the corners to look different than every job I've sent out since 2012. What's the actual bleed and margin setup you all use for small posters?
