Foremaster in Gary kept a 30 year old tube roller and I finally get why
Three weeks ago I was helping tear down an old water tube boiler in Gary, Indiana when the foreman pulled out a tube roller his dad used at the same mill since 1989. Everyone laughed at first but that thing rolled 42 tubes that day with zero leaks on hydro, while the two brand new rollers on the truck ate through three expander bits. Am I crazy for thinking the old US made tools still beat what we get now, or do you all have a roller you swear by that is actually new?
