Honestly, does it really matter that much how you brewed coffee for 6 years vs now? It's coffee, not rocket science. People act like switching from a drip machine to a pour over is some big life change when really it just makes a slightly different cup. Tbh I've done both and yeah the taste changes a bit but it's not worth writing a whole post about. Ngl this feels like one of those things where people get way too into the hobby and forget it's just a morning drink. Drink what you like and move on.
