My old design lead in Dallas said my palette looked like a "circus threw up," so I cut it to two loud colors
I had five clashing colors on one landing page and thought it looked bold. She pulled it up on her laptop, pointed at the screen and said it looked like a circus threw up, and honestly she was right. So I cut it down to a hot pink and an acid green on a dirt gray background and the whole thing snapped into place. The trick was letting the two loud colors fight each other with nothing else in the ring. Has anyone else found that one real clash works better than a pile of them?
