Update: My book club almost imploded over a character's lunch choice
We were at the library meeting room, and a huge fight broke out because someone said the protagonist ordering a salad showed 'weakness'. I suggested we all write down what WE would have ordered instead, and it totally calmed things down. Anyone ever have a debate get that heated over a tiny detail?

Saw a tweet once where people argued for days over a character's coffee order. Said it showed their whole personality. Wild stuff.

You think a salad means weakness? That's a weird take. A character choosing a salad could show they're careful, or healthy, or just not hungry. Reading that much into a lunch order feels like missing the point. The big choices matter way more than what's on their plate.
