Hot take: I always thought moss on my lawn was just a weed until a $12 hand lens proved me wrong
I split a clump from my backyard in Portland last week and saw the little leaf cells under a cheap 10x lens, and it turns out there are like 12,000 species of moss worldwide, so now I catch myself checking the cracks in my driveway every morning, has anyone else gotten hooked on bryophytes this way?
