My barber of all people got me thinking about my fiddle leaf fig
I was getting a haircut in Boise last week and my barber noticed the little leaf tattoo on my forearm, so we got to talking about houseplants. He mentioned he keeps his 3 fiddle leaf figs alive by copying how light moves across his yard through the day, moving each pot like 4 times. Honestly I always parked mine by a window and called it good, but his whole point was that plants want steady light, not one bright spot and a dark corner. So now I'm wondering if I've been slowly cooking mine in one spot this whole time. Has anyone else tracked how light shifts in their place before picking where a plant lives?
