My monstera put out 4 new leaves in one week and I think I finally figured out why
Two weeks ago I moved my monstera from the living room corner to about 3 feet from my east facing kitchen window, right next to the humidifier I run for my calatheas. I also stopped watering on a schedule and just waited until the top 2 inches of soil felt dry, which ended up being every 9 or 10 days. Last Monday I counted 4 new leaves unfurling at once, more than it gave me in the whole first year I had it. My friend says it is just the summer light, but the timing feels too perfect. Has anyone else had a plant explode like this after a small change, and did it keep going or was it a one time thing?
